Traveling is in full swing especially after a whole year of not being able to go anywhere! December 2019 my husband and I went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon and that was our last vacation until December 2020 when we celebrated our 1 year anniversary in Disney (had to stay local and we are kids at heart). I feel like we have travelled so much more this year than we usually would, but I am not complaining. We have been to Atlanta, GA, Myrtle Beach, SC and Asheville, NC as well as several local weekend beach trips and I am loving it!! I absolutely love to travel – something about exploring new places and planning outfits sparks joy for me and with traveling back on everyones summer agenda, I wanted to share a few of my favorite travel necessities! 1. PACKING CUBES - these packing cubes are so cute and come in several pattern options. They also come in so many different sizes and it makes for easy packing and saves so much room. I love that they come with a few laundry pouches for dirty clothes, too! (Usually if where I am staying has a laundry room, I will wash majority of the clothes so that I don't have to wash them when we can back and can just out them away). 2. FASHIONABLE BACKPACK PURSE - It doesn't matter what kind, but it's important that it is collapsable and lightweight, which is why I love this designer dupe checkered backpack. Not only does this one have the backpack straps, but it also has a shoulder strap and can double as a shoulder back if needed. I always opt for something light when flying. I use it as my purse and fits inside my carry-on duffle, plus has plenty of room for everything. When going to Disney or any amusement park, you'll be happy you decided to bring a backpack along for the ride! 3. STAINLESS WATER BOTTLE - With my full time job being in graphics at a marketing and promotional products firm, I have tried them all that are on the market and hands down will choose corkcicle every time! This particular one comes with a screw on lid with straw (which can be purchased separately if you want to add one to a corkcicle canteen you already own). What I love about this one is - it really holds ice like it says it does, the slim bottom allows it to fit in most cupholders, the lit has a ring on the top that flips up and can clip to any bag, and they come in so many fun colors/patterns! LOVE this product and wouldn't recommend traveling without one! 4. INTERCHANGABLE SANDALS - Everyone knows females can naturally pack way too many shoes – guilty! I always have to pack so many shoes because I never know what I am going to wear. My sisters gave me these monogramed interchangable sandals at a bridal shower as a honeymoon gift and they were absolutely perfect! It's only one pair of shoes, but the top part is velcro and can change out to match all of the outfits you packed + they are super flat so they pack really well and don't take up a lot of room. They are absolutely adorable with the detail and they definitely got their use this year with all of our mini beach trips and saved me so much room in packing! While I would obviously need a few more options if going somewhere for a whole week, these still cut down on the packing, save room in your suitcase, and perfect for those mini weekend summer trips! Now I just need some boots that do this for the winter - haha! 5. NEOPRENE TOTE - This is the most perfect travel tote/purse for road trips! The neoprene tote bag fits sooo much stuff, packs flat, and with the neoprene material it can be used as a beach or pool tote or gym bag if you are in to keeping up with your fitness regimen while on vacation! I always pack mine full of road trip essentials like my AirPods, ipad, snacks, chargers, etc. It also makes a great stylish and casual diaper back or if you are like me and hate carrying your nicer or designer bags when you're dressed in active wear from head to toe, I just take my organizer out and plop it into this tote and go! I hope this helps you when packing for your next trip and if you are headed out any time soon, I hope you have a fun and safe trip!
Xoxo, Kass
